
Eastern Mediterranean Doğa Kindergarten and Primary School celebrated World Water Day with enthusiasm
Eastern Mediterranean Doğa Kindergarten and Primary School organised World Water Day activities with great enthusiasm to draw attention to the importance of water. The event, which was organised to raise awareness of students and emphasise the value of water, attracted great interest from the participants.
The celebration started at noon with a march from the Monument Circle to the Venetian Palace. The walk, in which kindergarten and primary school students participated, aimed to raise awareness about the vital importance of water. In the event area, the students gave the audience unforgettable moments with the shows they prepared specially for World Water Day. Fashion show, gymnastics, rhythm-chorus and dance performances added colour to the celebration. The students were highly appreciated with their costumes and creative stage performances with messages about water conservation.
After the celebration, students enjoyed the event by visiting the stands set up in the area. The stands with educational and entertaining activities offered students an interactive experience about the importance of water. In his speech, the school principal thanked the Coordinator of Doğa Schools, the Mayor, the Police Directorate, the District Governorship and Sertbay Academy for their support in organising the event on behalf of the school. Thanks to their contributions, our students gained water awareness and had the opportunity to spend a pleasant and instructive day.
