HAPPY CHILDREN IN DOĞA WORKSHOP; TERRARIUM MAKING
The Year 3 pupils at Eastern Mediterranean Doğa Primary School made terrariums as part of their Ecology lesson activity.
The students learned about plant cultivation techniques in terrariums (soil-filled glass cases), which are generally made of glass and plastic and resemble aquariums, simulating a terrestrial environment for reptiles, insects, and certain plant species. They gained hands-on experience by creating their own terrariums. In the terrarium workshop, which is an environmentally friendly activity that contributes to ecological sustainability and also utilises one’s creativity and imagination, the pupils enjoyed themselves and displayed the terrariums they created at the end of the day for their families to admire.
