Eastern Mediterranean Doğa Primary School and Kindergarten once again honoured Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Republic of Turkey, Great Leader and Head Teacher, with respect, affection and longing on the 87th anniversary of his passing.
The ceremony commenced with a wreath laid by the Headmaster and the School Council Students at the bust of our Founder, who illuminated the Turkish people and the entire world with his contemporary mindset, secularism, and strong leadership.
Mr. Şansel Fırtınaer, Principal of the Eastern Mediterranean Doğa Primary School and Kindergarten, emphasised in his speech highlighting the meaning and importance of the day that ‘they will continue to be the implementers and defenders of Atatürk’s principles and reforms.’ The pantomime performance presented by the students was watched with great interest and emotion. The ceremony, which continued with songs enthusiastically performed by the school choir, concluded with the students placing flowers at the Atatürk bust accompanied by their teachers.
