The Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was commemorated on the 87th anniversary of his passing with ceremonies held at Doğu Akdeniz Doğa College and, together with our central schools, in Gazimağusa.

The commemoration program at our school began with a moment of silence followed by the Turkish National Anthem. After a speech by one of our teachers emphasizing the significance of the day, the ceremony continued with poems, speeches, and an oratorio prepared by our students.
At the ceremony held with the participation of Gazimağusa central schools, our teacher Sabah Houkan highlighted in her speech that Atatürk’s ideas and values continue to guide and inspire us.
During the event, our 10 Art class student Demir Doğan recited a meaningful poem expressing our love and longing for Atatürk. The audience experienced emotional moments, and the ceremony prepared by our students and teachers received great appreciation.
As the Doğu Akdeniz Doğa College family, we will continue to follow in Atatürk’s footsteps and carry his values into the future.
