Practical Earthquake Awareness Training at Doğa International Schools

As part of the “Disaster-Ready School Project” conducted by the Civil Defence Organization Presidency, teams from the Girne Regional Civil Defence Organization visited our school. During the visit, practical earthquake awareness training was conducted for our students. Students from the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades of our primary school participated in the training. Throughout the training, students were informed about the correct actions to take during and after an earthquake; they gained awareness about safe evacuation, “drop-cover-hold” techniques, and disaster awareness. We thank the officials of the Girne Regional Civil Defence Organization for this valuable training, which aims to raise our students as conscious, prepared, and safe individuals in the face of disasters. Our efforts to strengthen disaster awareness in our school will continue with determination.
