Science, Culture, and Art Enthusiasm at Doğa International Schools🎨🤖♟️🧺🎭
Our school’s Science, Culture, and Art (SCA) event, with its rich content that simultaneously developed our students’ academic, artistic, and social skills, attracted great interest. As part of the event, our students demonstrated their environmental awareness and creativity by designing toys from recyclable materials; they reinforced their quick thinking, problem-solving, and strategy-building skills through game-based mathematics and chess activities; mathematics was integrated into daily life through obstacle courses, a roulette wheel, fraction games, and digital competitions.
In the field of science, applications using lung and dynamometer models allowed students to learn through observation. Mind and intelligence games, Smart Game activities, and robotics studies (drawing and maze solving with Dash robot) increased students’ analytical thinking and interest in technology. Art and culture activities included stone painting, rug patterns, mask design, rhythm instrument making, and large-scale collaborative painting projects. Students had the opportunity to express themselves uniquely by drawing inspiration from literary characters, traditional arts, and different cultures. The Elementary School Russian Corner also received great interest with its visual presentations and workshop activities. Physical education courses strengthened team spirit and a love of sports, while Turkish language skills were supported through Turkish language studies, proverbs, idioms, and word games. Organized with the goal of raising individuals who think in the light of science, are aware of their culture, and can express themselves through art, this event offered an unforgettable learning experience where our students discovered their talents and our parents proudly witnessed this development. Learning at Doğa College is always multifaceted, lasting, and enjoyable!
