A Meaningful Memorial Ceremony for Rauf Raif Denktaş at Eastern Mediterranean Doğa College

Eastern Mediterranean Doğa College commemorated the 14th anniversary of the death of Rauf Raif Denktaş, the Founding President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, with a meaningful ceremony. The commemoration program, attended by the school administration, teachers, and students, was filled with emotional moments. A poem describing Rauf Denktaş’s struggle and love for his country was read by our student Meryem Erusta.
In the speech given by our teacher Gözde Pırlanta, the historical importance of Rauf Denktaş for the Turkish Cypriot people was emphasized. The speech highlighted Denktaş’s leadership, sacrifices, and the legacy he left to future generations. The ceremony concluded with a respectful and grateful remembrance of Rauf Raif Denktaş’s cherished memory.
