A Great Chess Achievement from Eastern Mediterranean Doğa Primary School Student Albert Alkım

Albert Alkım, a 2nd-grade student at Eastern Mediterranean Doğa Primary School, has added another success to his growing list of achievements in chess. Despite being only 7 years old, Albert has reached an Elo rating of 1543, making him the youngest chess player in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) with an official Elo rating.
Born in August 2017, our young champion continues to draw attention in the chess world with his disciplined work ethic and strategic intelligence, despite his young age.
