EAST MEDITERRANEAN DOGA PRIMARY SCHOOL 4TH GRADE STUDENTS’ MEANINGFUL TRIP TO NICOSIA
The fourth-grade pupils of Eastern Mediterranean Doğa Primary School undertook an educational and highly meaningful trip to Nicosia.
First, they visited the memorial graves of Dr Fazıl Küçük and Founding President Rauf Raif Denktaş, leaders of our struggle for social existence… The pupils toured the historic Kyrenia Gate and the National Struggle Museum with great interest, having the opportunity to closely examine the artefacts reflecting the struggle of the Turkish Cypriot people for freedom.
The visit continued with tours of the Dr. Küçük Museum, Halkın Sesi Newspaper, and Near East Museum. This meaningful journey, which reinforced their historical awareness, was both educational and an unforgettable experience for the students.
