Eastern Mediterranean Doğa College Library Week Event
In the event oranised by Eastern Mediterranean Doğa College Library Week, on April 8, the Turkish Department teachers invited Head of the Cyprus Turkish Writers Union Prof. Dr. Şevket Öznur, an important writer of Cyprus, to our school. Our writer talked to the students of our school about the importance of reading books, the culture of Cyprus, the memories of our important writers that left their mark in history, and the interest of tourists who prefer our city due to Namık Kemal and Othello. He gave some of his own books as a present to our school library and made us aware of his deep knowledge in his field.
