Eastern Mediterranean Doğa Primary School and Kindergarten once again commemorated Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, the Great Leader and Chief Teacher, with respect, love and longing on the 86th anniversary of his passing away
The ceremony started with the wreath placed by the School Principal and School Council Students on the bust of our Atatürk, who shed light on the Turkish people and the whole world with his modern mindset, secular and strong leadership.
Mr. Şansel Fırtınaer, Principal of Eastern Mediterranean Doğa Primary School and Kindergarten. Ms. Şansel Fırtınaer, in her speech indicating the meaning and importance of the day, emphasized that “they will continue to be the implementer and defender of Atatürk’s principles and revolutions.” In the poems they read, the students expressed that they will keep Atatürk alive in their little hearts. The importance of art and culture was kept alive with a waltz dance performance by teachers and students. The ceremony ended with the song “I Loved You Without Seeing You” sung enthusiastically by the school choir.
