
Ecological Awareness at the Breakfast Table
The Eastern Mediterranean Doğa Kindergarten organised an ‘Ecology Lesson Breakfast Event’ for children aged 5+ and Year 1 primary school pupils and their parents, offering children an enjoyable experience focused on healthy eating and ecological awareness.
During the event, students and parents had breakfast together, while the Ecology teacher emphasised that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Students had the opportunity to discover the natural process behind the food on their tables. In this way, they both understood the importance of healthy eating and developed a more sensitive perspective towards nature.
At the end of the event, parents expressed their satisfaction that their children had enjoyed themselves while learning. Doğa continues to implement such activities that support students’ environmental awareness with a sustainable approach.
