Mobile Library Event was organised at Eastern Mediterranean Doğa Primary School

Within the scope of the Library Week Activities, Eastern Mediterranean Doğa Primary School hosted a meaningful event in order to improve the reading habits of its students and to reinforce their love of literature. On 4 April 2025, students had the opportunity to acquire new books and read books in nature with the ‘Mobile Library Event’ organised under the leadership of the Turkish Language Department.
Within the scope of the event, students met with valuable books suitable for their age groups in the mobile library area established in the school garden. The students, who also had the opportunity to buy books, read the books they chose with pleasure in the fresh air. Believing that education should not only take place in the classroom, but also outdoors and in different environments, the event attracted great interest among the students. School administrators and teachers emphasised that such activities increase students’ interest in books and support the reading culture.
Eastern Mediterranean Doğa Primary School will continue to instil a love of reading in its students by continuing its innovative approaches in education. Similar events are planned to be organized in the future.
