Students of the Eastern Mediterranean Doğa Kindergarten and Primary School honoured Dr Fazıl Küçük with respect and fond memories on the 42nd anniversary of his passing.

Following a moment of silence and the recitation of the National Anthem, the student council presented a wreath. The ceremony continued with a speech by a student highlighting the significance of the day, emphasising Dr Fazıl Küçük’s struggle for the Turkish Cypriot people and the legacy he left behind. The ceremony then continued with a speech by the school principal.
As part of the ceremony programme, third-year students performed a poetry and lyrical dance show entitled ‘All Flowers in Cyprus,’ which was greatly appreciated by the audience.
The commemoration programme concluded with the school choir singing the songs ‘Ölümsüz Liderimiz’ and ‘Mağusa Limanı’
