Third-grade students at Eastern Mediterranean Doğa Elementary School visited the Gazimağusa Thursday Market and shopped as part of a project on accessing healthy foods in the most appropriate way.
They also demonstrated conscious behavior in using money by doing their own shopping.
After shopping at the market, they relaxed by eating the fruit they bought in the historic Desdemona Park and completed the day with a cultural tour in Kaleiçi to see the cultural values around us up close.
